Genuinely the best restaurant in Stafford. My wife and I went here, and the food was out of this world! So much so, that we ordered a take away the next day again. We ordered the ‘Soul ting’ the first time and the portion sizes were generous and the food was freshly cooked and delicious. The staff were super friendly too. For the take out order, we had the ‘OG’, with 2 mains. This was enough to feed a family of 4, even though it says 2. We enjoyed both the sit in and take out experience. The food arrived super hot, and what I would highly recommend coming and trying this place out if you’re in the area, or just looking for something new if you’re a local. We can’t wait to come again!
I drove 40 mins to try this place, and first impressions were positive. Staff and service were great and friendly, and on a whole the presentation of the food was great and package well. my only criticism of the food is it lack that authentic Jamaican spice, but I am aware this is catered for all and not just my high spice levels. I would recommend it getting the Brownstew as it had a nice gravy, the dumpling and 'plantin' were nice also.
The food here was delicious. Rice and peas, curried goat, plantain, Mac n cheese, jerk chicken etc. it was all really great and good value for money.
What a special gem this restaurant is! We have ordered from Patties n Ting a couple of times and attended one of their bottomless brunches recently. The staff were so attentive and friendly and couldn’t have done more for us during our visit. The food is incredible and tastes like what you would get in Jamaica ???????? The rum punch is to die for! We are so grateful to have this gem of a restaurant in our own town
We had a work event in Newcastle where we had the pleasure of hosting patties and ting. First of all I just wanted to mention how incredibly sweet everyone is, they were so kind and they showed so much hospitality!! Second of all and the most important part is the food. I don’t even know where to begin but all I can say is it was the best food I have ever had. The chicken was so moist and so flavourful! I also ate every last bit of coleslaw and I don’t even like coleslaw but this was completely different and tasted incredible. I’m not too sure what this dish was but I think it was curried chicken? I couldn’t get enough of the sauce, if they sold that they would get a lot of customers. The only bad thing I have to say is how far away the restaurant is away from me!! I wish it was closer because I would become a regular there. Once again amazing service, so friendly and kind and incredible food!!! Wish I could give 100 stars
Delicious!!! We swung by here for lunch on our way north, and it's absolutely worth it! We tried the jerk chicken and vegan curry with rice and beans and the loaded fries with jerk chicken. Staff are sweet and friendly. We would be here very often if we were local. Worth the stop, we still think of this meal
We absolutely love Patties + Ting! From the moment you step through the door, this spot delivers an authentic Jamaican street food experience that transports you to the vibrant streets of Jamaica. Whether you opt for takeout/collection or decide to soak in the atmosphere, the freshness of their dishes is unparalleled. The collection process was seamless, and the taste of the food is unbelievable. The menu boasts an array of options and each option on the menu is full of flavour. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the generous portions, making it a true value for money experience. The taste is simply unbelievable, with each dish showcasing the chef's dedication to authentic Jamaican cuisine. Patties N Ting is not just a great restaurant; it's a place that everyone must visit to experience the culinary gem we all have on our doorstep that is unique to any other restaurant in the area! Can't wait for our regular Saturday Patties + Ting!
Tried a sample of their food a few weeks back and it was 10/10! Dumplings and jerk chicken to die for! Today at Wolves fanzone we had the beef pattie and loaded fries! Also good. Would be good to see more variety if they are at the fanzone again
